Who We Help
We focus on business and commercial work in London. Facilities managers, employers, commercial landlords, schools, workshops and contractors need advice that relates to their activities and the people exposed. The first step is to understand that context before defining the service.
Our service pages explain the work available and the boundaries to consider when commissioning it. A focused risk assessment, a review of management arrangements and ongoing advice solve different problems. We help you describe the issue so the proposed support addresses it.
How We Approach The Work
We start with activities, responsibilities and evidence. Managers and workers know how jobs happen in practice, including the shortcuts or changes that may not appear in a procedure. Their input helps make assessments and recommendations relevant to the workplace.
Advice should be proportionate to the risk and clear enough to act on. Reports need to explain material findings, practical actions and what further information or specialist input is needed. A document should help managers make decisions and communicate controls.
Guidance And Responsibilities
The relevant framework includes the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. Particular activities may bring further requirements, such as COSHH or CDM. HSE guidance informs the approach, including the Plan, Do, Check, Act framework in HSG65.
Competence and the agreed appointment matter more than broad claims. Any specialist input, statutory dutyholder role or technical examination needs its own appropriate scope. Commissioning advice does not remove the employer’s legal responsibility for managing health and safety.
A Clear Basis For Your Enquiry
Use the enquiry form to describe the business activity, London location and the outcome you need. Your details may be passed to a suitable local firm with your agreement so the requirements can be discussed. The service, availability and deliverables should be confirmed before any appointment.
